Makes no sense at all - many people are born poor in 3rd world countries with no hope or opportunity to become rich.  Sometimes they are even happier than those who do have money, as people tend to get accustomed to whatever they have and their overall level of happiness will usually be swayed by the non-financial parts of their life.

Dunno I saw a docu from Africa. When asked what they wanted for their kids, doctor or lawyer. No, they just wanted their kids to survive. Makes you think how hard life can be.
