I'm seeing this frightening phenomenon more and more.   No lie - I've brought in a copy of the original trilogy to the office for anyone who falls into this category.

If folks didn't see the films as kids or while they were fresh and in theaters then seeing them today won't mean anything to them.  I've kids today that laugh at them cause they look "soooo bad".

I saw them on the big screen when they were rereleased in'97.  Also a great year for BFTO.

She's in her 30's but moved here in her teens, she's half Italian and half Venezuelan.
so we were walking into Toy-R-Us to get my nephew a bday gift and right in front there was a life size lego storm trooper.
I was like ''This is so cool!", she was like "What is that ???"


...I immediately called Clavins Dad and told him...he didn't say anything for 10 seconds then asked "Are you going to continue to date her ???"

I hear you on that.  But, my kids love it.  If you get them to watch before they're jaded, they'll be hooked.

As a young child I always found the star wars movie franchise very childish, cliche and just bad, while my classmates were often consumed and talking about it.

I never understood how people liked things that required so much make believe.

My early ambitions was waging war. Snowball fights, fighting with sticks in the forest, breaking things sufficed.

Silly movies sometimes brings about hate, rage and general contempt for humankind. But I handle it well.

Clavins Dad has some great lines for a 70 year old guy.

...a couple of years ago when super storm Sandy hit our area his house was flooded and he had to stay with me for almost a year.
