the inventor of the flye exercise for chest was jake hitchens of the york barbell club. he also is purported to have owned 78 new cadillacs over a period of 24 years two at a time a hardtop for bad weather and a convertable for sunny days. he would trade them in for a new one when the whitewall tires would get dirty. he ran a very successful septic tank business. of the business he said it pays well but you gotta take a lot of crap.

last week two zuvers 50 lb plates were put up on e-bay price went to 1595 dollars but didn't make reserve after 26 bids. item was relisted and up to 1095 with 4 days remaining.

that in 1941 steve stanko became the first human to total 1000 lbs in the three olympic lifts the press, snatch, and clean and jerk.

the first man to lift over 400 lbs overhead was karl swoboda in 1910 he continetalled and jerked 401 and a fraction lbs.

that the inventor of the dumbbell was tom owen a heavyweight champion professional boxer . he lived from 1768-1843. he used it for conditioning . it worked he boxed for over 30 years at a high level.
