Have this on order right now but with red calipers and the red interior instead of that LT3 Napa leather interior. The damn thing has been on order since Nov and is still in the first GM order code status. I'm 50/50 on just ditching the order and the deposit when it finally comes. It will be almost freaking 2015 model time by the time I get it.
I'm guessing you ordered some of the options on constraint like the carbon fiber dash or the exposed carbon fiber roof or competition seats? That might explain the wait. Or, if you ordered it from a smaller dealer who doesn't have a large enough allocation that would also explain it - many dealers won't tell you that in fear that they'll lose your business.
I just read the part closer where you said you're still in the first order status - I can't say for 100% but from what I understand 95% likelihood is that your dealer does not have an allocation and is simply waiting/hoping for GM to build it. Good chance it won't get built as a 2014. There are a bunch of large dealers with huge allocations that you can order from instead, they'll ship it to your state, etc.
The wheels will look a bit different I'm sure you know, since the ones in that picture are aftermarket.
(FWIW I ordered from a medium-to-large dealer in mid-November, car arrived early February, I didn't order any carbon fiber or competition seats. Ag2 ordered it same time as me, mid-November, but from a smaller dealer - he ordered both the cf dash and exposed cf roof, his car arrived 5 weeks after mine and without the exposed cf roof (the dealer told GM to go ahead even though they couldn't build it the way ag2 wanted it because they knew that if they kept waiting they won't get any C7 at all for the 2014 year).
