Like him or not, just realize you are supporting a Socialist and as we know from viewing the rest of the world and history Socialism has never worked (led to ruin).  That being said at least he admits to being a socialist and unlike the rest of the Democratic party and a few Republicans too.  By the way the socialist ranks very high as a liberal so what does that tell you / about liberal policies?  http://thatsmycongress.com/senate

That tells me that socialism cannot be the all-bad boogeyman that some would reflexively believe it is. 

For are not many current gov't programs socialistic in nature?  Do you really think all are bad?

Also, are you aware of the degree of civil unrest that existed in the early 1900's before many socialistic policies and protections for the common workingman were enacted?

Bernie speaks off the cuff like a guy who is both very intelligent and compassionate.  Frankly, you don't seem have much of either of these qualities.

Maybe you make up for it by having this real world experience in how "things" work that you're saying he lacks, though.
