Starving/dieting makes sense. Not sure why anyone would dehydrate if not competing.

Well, i'm not ever goign to step onstage... especially not with the loose skin on my lower stomach from being obese earlier in life... but I still want to get to a decently low BF level just to be lean for once in my life, and see what it's like. I'll probably wind up getting some surgery on my stomach if I do get that low, even though it's not nearly as bad as other formerly obese people I've seen. Plus the longer I stay more fit, the tighter the skin seems to get.

I think there is always a point in wanting to get in shape. Not necessarily contest shape, no reason to go super low if you're not competing.

Why would you ever consider those retards? That's why they're over there, & we're over here.

Didn't you have epic leans while in the Marines?

Also maybe try dry body brushing to tighten loose skin.

well dehdrating is overkill yeah, but why not dieting?

being shreded is what everyone realy wants, i mean if not dieting, why even bother training?

if your never ever dieting youre a powerlifter of sorts.

last time i checked, most ppl do this for vanity reasons, so yeah.

ok some retards are gonna do it bc they think muscle is intimidating, but they have severe mental issues.

op, get some arimidex man

I dont think there is no point to dieting. If thats what makes you happy, thats what makes you happy.

But the question is what do you consider "dieting?"

I try to have an overall healthy diet. Sure Ill splurge and eat some junk food.

I assume when you mean dieting, you mean a crazy strict diet (what the pros do). I am assuming most people dont go that crazy.

Not quite epic leans, no. I was just a form of skinny fat.  :D I was 204 @ 6'3" and probably 15-18%.

When I say leans, I'm talking like 8% as a goal.

Sounds like epic lack of muscle mass. Most lifters would be very lean at 6'3 204

Exactly. Basically, when you go into boot camp, you do nothing but cardiovascular exercises. I lost a good 80% of my muscle mass in boot camp. I got a lot back, but the Marines put a premium on being in good cardiovascular shape and being strong relative to bodyweight rather than having muscles and actually being strong.

It's a very 1950's mentality still. It's different afterwards... but they basically run you non-stop while feeding you little. You lose a shit ton of both fat AND muscle. Then you lose more muscle and fat @ SOI. Then you hit the fleet, where you can actually somewhat lift. But it's still hard to put on muscle with the schedule they have you on. You generally find that the pogs are bigger/leaner than the grunts.

yah, i mean this whole training for muscle effort, is quite retarded to do.
but millions do it nonetheless.

when you think, lifting all life to just look good, its weird, but its basicaly 40mintues a day time and a not so tasty diet.

all in all,i can live with that.

eating liek normal person or cheat meals, its knda like ppl who suddenly earn more money, they get used to it and want more.

matter of perspective.
