Bret speculated the WCW jump was what gave Vince the red ass.
Piper claims randy slapped Vince in a bar one night...but, Piper's also done a lot of drugs.

I don't buy the Stephanie rumors, although Lanny danced around the question in an interview following Randy's passing.

Vince made it appear it was an amicable split. He gave Savage glowing praise after announcing that he was gone. Savage said there was no hard feelings. He simply left, because he still wanted to wrestle; whereas McMahon wanted him doing more commentary and behind-the-scenes stuff to push the "New Generation" guys.

And, none of that explains why they've kept Savage out of the HOF.

According to Lanny, Randy had big ideas of working a program with HBK that he envisioned being on the same level as his work with Steamboat. Lanny claims his brother felt that was the one last great run he had in the tank.

Honky's not in the HOF, either. And look how long it took to get LOD inducted. I don't recall any beef regarding Animal, Ellering, Hawk's family and the McMahons. Animal made the brief comeback in 2005; they basically made a new LOD, teaming him with Heidenreich, and they won the Smackdown tag titles. Granted, that may have been more to push the Road Warriors DVD, but still.....

Plus, it may have something to do with the families. Isn't Owen Hart's widow the prime reason why WWE has yet to put Owen in the hall?

Yeah but Bret is pushing hard to have him inducted in the coming years. I suppose you can't really blame Owen's widow though, all considered.

One would imagine that Macho Man, if he was going to be inducted, would have been following his death. That was a strange one that WWE would not do it then and wait for a few more years instead? Im not sure, something is not right with the whole situation.

It took several years for Hennig to get in after his passing.

Lanny also said in an interview that only he would allow for Randy to go in as long as it was with their Dad Angelo
