question for Lee Priest

Lee,
         when you train biceps and forearms,,,how many sets do you do usually and with how many different exercises. I thought I once read that you do alot of sets.

well i can tell you that you only have to worry about biceps because he doesn't train forearms belive it or not!! in one of my previous md mags he does biceps before tris and its 4 excersies i think....3 sets each. it was hammers,alternate dumbs,concentration curls and barbell curls.....he did the photoshoot with craig titus.

well i can tell you that you only have to worry about biceps because he doesn't train forearms belive it or not!! in one of my previous md mags he does biceps before tris and its 4 excersies i think....3 sets each. it was hammers,alternate dumbs,concentration curls and barbell curls.....he did the photoshoot with craig titus.

Wrong i always do 20 or more sets for each bis and tris.

right on the forearms never train them.

thanks alot Lee,,,I thought I read in Flex magazine a while back that you did alot of sets for biceps..Good luck with your upcoming shows.

I have a side question for you too, Lee. 

When you do arms - Bi's and Tri's together - how long is your workout?  I'm guessing 2 hours or more.  And when you do other bodyparts - say, Chest - I'm guessing you're in there for a bit less, maybe 1.5 hours? 

In your videos you superset arms.  Do you always do that or was that just because you were in precontest mode?

A couple of questions.

Would you often target different parts of the biceps and triceps systematically in the workout, even in the off-season?

Do you take any of those 20 sets to failure in a typical off-season work-out, if so how many?

I know this is a joke but if you want big arms your not going to ask somebody with small arms. What if they have small arms in spite of  great genetics?

I suspect this theory originates from Joe Weider, so people would take his advice seriously, of course all this was before he built a physique strangely similar to that of Robby Robinson.

Kamali has short Biceps with a gap where the other half of his bicep should be, my biceps have no visually perceptable gap at 90 degrees flexion. see here

(search for Acerimmer1 and scroll through till you see my ugly mug hitting a front double biceps, by the way this is a really old photo and I was and still am natural.



Therefore my muscle structure is so disimilar to Kamali, there is no way I could have biceps like Kamali without surgery nor would I want biceps like his as I think the big gap looks completely silly. So why would I ask his advice?
