yeah that's what I tought too, at first some shots where amazing and I liked how it looked, then they changed the lighting so that it looks more "artistic" of whatever
but I still like them, like I said I am not that into the "bodybuilding" look that much nowadays as I'll never look like one, I was juste happy to have some souvenir pictures for later when I won't give a shit about staying lean
and I fear that day might happen sooner than later
I'm getting a bit bored with bodybuilding, I might try something else in the near future, maybe some boxing lessons or something
Funny you mention that. I cannot count how many competitors have been telling me this lately. Something for the future.
Some are happy with whatever they get, but some have the attitude of "Please, I'll do whatever, GET OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE and please make me looks AS GOOD AS I DO!
Unfortunately, I am the artist and the Post-production guy. I can only say so much. If I were the photographer... and with my years and years of Photoshop experience...
It's really sad. Most of the photographers that come through my gym are very arrogant. I'm waiting for that one that is open to new ideas... and making his paying client look good after all the hard work they have done to look that way. Too many photographers out there trying to find their "niche" in the industry by being "different"
I don't particularly care for the way Neveaux shoots and uses his lighting, but it is very identifiable and it has a somewhat decent look. The weird lighting from the side are bottom are tough to get used to.
Whatever happened to taking your client outside at either dusk, dawn or an overcast day? You can't get ANY better than that ~
Oh well ~ I'm nobody.
