In a lot of ways female bodybuilding is like the porn industry it attracts women with very low selfesteem , who are all overcompensating for lack of attention as a child .
so how is that different from male bodybuilders? i'm sure theres more than a few men who started bodybuilding for the same reason

Oh pleanty of men start lifting weights because of the exact same reasons but any woman that would inject themselves with male hormones in ammounts that alter their genetic make-up are really fucked-up , you have to have a ton of emotonal problems to take it to that level . And the " better " pics of her are actually worse , these " women " are repulsive , there is NO aesthetic quality to a womans phsyique tainted by massive ammounts of male hormones .

Simply because it's not the norm doesn't mean it's born out of mentall ilness or real (or perceived) trauma. That's an enormous misconception brought on by people that couldn't look farther then the confines of their own mindset. It's a much too freudian line of thought, and unfounded, to try to 'blame' differences on lack of attention or abuse in childhood. There is research that suggest that there are correlations between FBB and sexual abuse. Mind you; correlations, not causal effects. So it may hold true for a certain percentage, it can never be related to a single case! People differ, whether you like it or not, whether you think it pretty or not, whether you think it abnormal or not. The norm is just the norm because most people are that way, that's the only thing that defines a norm. Fake tits have become the norm in certain parts of the US. Norms are diffuse, they are fluctuating, shifting, believing a norm is rigid is false. Cultural differences and historical differences have pointed that out over and over again. An analogy with these women using to much test, is guys using synthol (and going overboard). It doesn't look natural and I don't like it. But who am I to judge? They aren't harming anyone (but themselves perhaps) and aren't bothering me. Let it be...

Maybe it's photoshopped or an odd angle.
Definately doesn't look natural or in place.

It's about the only nice thing left. Look at what a difference a few years of drugs makes. She really has wrecked herself, it's sad.

As far as the " norm " is concerned there has to be a baseline , because if you do any odd behavior long enough it becomes normal to you , but it doesn't mean that it is.

As far as the " norm " is concerned there has to be a baseline , because if you do any odd behavior long enough it becomes normal to you , but it doesn't mean that it is.
That baseline is a cultural construct. When you're in the bodybuilding scene the image of what comprises a normal body slowly shifts towards a bigger and bigger standard. She probably feels comfortable with herself and so does the BB-ing incrowd. 99% of the people would argue that it's wrong or weird, but the fact that the majority thinks otherwise doesnt make it wrong. That's the whole point, I admit it's not my thing, but there are no moral or ethical grounds to dismiss these people. And making attributions like 'they must've had a bad childhood' are dimwitted and unfounded.
