The irony is that until the last 100 years or so, and primarily in the West...yoga was for men, and men only.

Yoga is really helpful.

Outed, it's a trick question.  We all know straight guys would NEVER do yoga.

Yoga has had a big resurgence over the last few years.  The women that are serious about yoga are usually in great shape too.  Fatties usually do not even attempt it.

Like someone said above:  You want to meet some quality milfs?... yoga classes are great place to meet them.

One New York City yoga studio has taken yoga’s flexible principles to the next level by offering co-ed, naked vinyasa courses.
The class, introduced the Bold & Naked studio in Chelsea, is supposed to provide students with a new way to focus on celebrating their bodies and is not intended to be sexually evocative.

'There are a lot of things that separate us in a normal yoga class, like what brand of yoga clothing you're wearing or how you look when you're wearing it,' Vanessa Kennedy, a naked yoga class attendee, told Reuters. 'But when we're naked, it's like we're all the same.'

I do hatha yoga a few times a week in the morning and also taught a yoga class last year until I got injured. I might start one again. I recommend it .. not the corporate fitness club variety with music spandex and incents.. the real deal. You need a good instructor. This spring I will film a dvd and put it on youtube with my version of Hatha Yoga and maybe people can learn from what I do. It is not that diffcult and it is worth it. Trust me, I thought the same thing .. oh.. those idiots who do the silly poses and act all spiritual. Once I got good info on it I started right away.

I was big in to yoga for most of my twenties and not just the asana part. I got certified as an instructor also and had a hatha class going in South Beach for a while.

I took a class a couple years ago for two months that was a Power Yoga (sort of like DDP Yoga) and Foam Roller combination program.  It was flat out awesome.

They've got this thing called Broga, which seems to be a making in roads, they've got quite a few Gold's gyms carrying the classes. They also do quite a few siminars, etc... - http://www.brogayoga.com .

I personally like the DDP / Yoga For Regular Guys stuff (YRG).

Been doing yoga doing once or twice a week for the last two years. But mainly on the intermidiate level. Excellent benefits for stress relief and maintaining flexibility. The class I go to has only one other male.

You have to be in reasonably good physical shape to do it. You can't do the majority of the positions correctly if you're carrying excess bodyfat.

I stay away from doing the hot bikram classes. Some classes raise the tempature in the studio to almost 100 degrees. I find it very uncomfortable and you can't hold the positions well because of your sweat.

Yoga and weight training is a great combination,in my opinion. Helps increase your range of motion in your joints and eases soreness after workouts.

Have any pictures of when you are covered in sweat. I am a top level yoga positional instructor, I could "critique" your pics. PM if interested.
