But yet no one ever comes out saying Blaine approached them to be "in" on some trick... Not even the famous like Harrison Ford, Jamie Foxx, Snoop whatever, all were blown away in real life where it counts

The real life tricks are the slight of hand type... Misdirection things.

Great tricks, but just tricks.

Magicians have used suggestion, mild hypnotism almost, to what they call "impress" the card they want a person too choose for many years. Who knows how many cards were missing from the deck? There could have been !0 cards missing. All he has to do is choose one of those. Blaine asks him to pick a piece of fruit, then he asks what the card was. Blaine has a deck of cards in his pocket that are marked. When Ford names the card, Blaine riffs throughout the deck & grabs the card he needs. Watch the weird way he hold he holds the knife, & then makes sure Ford is holding on to the Orange when he cuts it. Magicians are masters of sleight at hand. He makes the cut in the orange & inserts the folded card & then gives the Orange to Ford.

I'm stoned.

These tricks are done in a certain way.  They prepped the area with all sorts of hidden cards.  The deck was stacked to not show all 52 but make you think they're there but limit your choice to about 10 possible cards.  If it  was the 9Hearts, it was in the orange.  The ace of spaces was hidden in the apple.  The 8clubs was hidden in his oven etc...  Depending on Harrison's choice he new where to get the card from.  Once the trick was done production crew cleaned up the mess.

Did Calista have an ace of spade somewhere gallantry forbids you to say?

The trick was easy.  Calista was hiding behind a thin strand of magicians string.

Why would they?
