Aborted fetal cells in Pepsi products???
« on: March 26, 2014, 07:21:22 PM »
Is this real? I know there are some guys here like Falcon who analyze dietary consumption to the highest level of scrutiny, has anyone else heard of this?

Earlier in the year I read an article about how the Pepsi Company is using aborted fetal tissue in their products for flavor enhancing research.

On Feb 28th, President Obama’s Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) ruled that PepsiCo’s use of cells derived from aborted fetal remains in their research and development agreement with Senomyx to produce flavor enhancers falls under “ordinary business operations.”

According to LifeSiteNews.com,

The letter signed by Attorney Brian Pitko of the SEC Office of Chief Counsel was sent in response to a 36-page document submitted by PepsiCo attorneys in January, 2012. In that filing, PepsiCo pleaded with the SEC to reject the Shareholder’s Resolution filed in October 2011 that the company “adopt a corporate policy that recognizes human rights and employs ethical standards which do not involve using the remains of aborted human beings in both private and collaborative research and development agreements.”
PepsiCo lead attorney George A. Schieren noted that the resolution should be excluded because it “deals with matters related to the company’s ordinary business operations” and that “certain tasks are so fundamental to run a company on a day-to-day basis that they could not be subject to stockholder oversight.”

Now yesterday I read another article that brought this all back fresh to me.

This article was titled, Avoid Any Products Containing Aborted Fetal Cells. This article goes into a bit more detail. Details like why there is such a demand for abortion.

Fetal tissue has been used for transplants and in vaccines for quite a while now but medical community is getting a little too excited and is claiming unlimited potential for fetal tissue technology. It is really just so disturbing.

Researchers say the timing of the abortion is important because a more matured fetus produces better fetal tissue. Most abortions take place between the sixth and eleventh week of pregnancy, but researchers are saying that fetuses that are fourteen to sixteens weeks are better and more valuable.

Again, this disgusts me.

PepsiCo’s statement about all of this?

They say ‘this will produce great tasting, lower-calorie beverages.’

Aborted babies incinerated to heat UK hospitals

The remains of more than 15,000 babies were incinerated as 'clinical waste' by hospitals in Britain with some used in 'waste to energy' plants

By Sarah Knapton, Science Correspondent

7:00AM GMT 24 Mar 2014

The bodies of thousands of aborted and miscarried babies were incinerated as clinical waste, with some even used to heat hospitals, an investigation has found.

Ten NHS trusts have admitted burning foetal remains alongside other rubbish while two others used the bodies in ‘waste-to-energy’ plants which generate power for heat.

Last night the Department of Health issued an instant ban on the practice which health minister Dr Dan Poulter branded ‘totally unacceptable.’

At least 15,500 foetal remains were incinerated by 27 NHS trusts over the last two years alone, Channel 4’s Dispatches discovered.

The programme, which will air tonight, found that parents who lose children in early pregnancy were often treated without compassion and were not consulted about what they wanted to happen to the remains.

The people "protesting" this (welcome to 2011) were obviously much too stupid to actually understand anything on that page but it's ok, there are not actually dead baby fragments in your diet drinks.

Even if not utter bullshit, how nice to equate the desire for assorted candies with the need for life-saving medications and vaccinations... ::)

I know some crematories use the heath from the cremation process to warm their buildings. Nothing wrong with that.

As far as I can tell there is no aborted fetal cell content to Pepsi but rather they utilised a company's ability to recreate human taste mechanism through the use of HEK 293 embryonic kidney cells, in flavour research.
