Lee is a straight shooter and doesn't bullshit like so many other bodybuilders.

I can explain why the pros don't stick together and make conditions better for themselves. If someone like Lee is suspended then there is one less guy to compete with. Everyone moves up a place.

The IFBB was set up by Ben Weider who admired Napoleon. Think about the control that the IFBB has. Pro cards are issued. That is a bunch of total bullshit. It has always been about controlling the bodybuilders like sheep.

The Olympia contest was a bad decision and has probably ruined bodybuilding. Ben and Joe came and conquered bodybuilding but look at the mess they left. Why should the Mr Olympia be a bigger contest than Mr Universe?

That shouldn't be even thinkable. However, Joe wanted a contest so all the champions could compete. There was

already a contest in England that catered to the professionals but Joe wanted his own show. What a shame those egos were in the game.

There shouldn't be any suspensions and other crap.

Lee is an honest guy but gets called "Liar Priest" by assholes in the game. That Jay snubbed Lee is disgraceful.

Lee is right that we all get what we deserve and we deserve what we get.

How the heck did Steve Weinberger become an important official in the IFBB? Shades of the inmates running the asylum!

What you, Steve?!

I remember about ten or twelve years ago being a member of an invite source board that was owned by the guy that started VPX. I guess he saw more money could be had selling supplements.

we talk about the best of the best during Priest's era and he was placing top 6, he had the potential to slaughter the 212 class and to have him ban is a shame to the guys in that class. I mean there is the 212 Olympia going against the best of the best but one, that is a huge ''what if''

Lee also got gifts due to his name and his arms. He was features a lot in mags, photoshoots and interviews about his arm training.
Flex Lewis and David Henry would slaughter Priest. Especially with his famously very weak chest and lack of conditioning from the back. That being said, he had very good quad shape and separation, very good lats and delts. Good abs and calves.

no they wouldn't, not at his best, that's BS. I mean can you picture either of the 2 you mentioned getting top 6 with the likes of Dorian, Flex, Nasser, cormier etc, NOT A FUCKEN CHANCE IN HELL

At his best he was 199 pounds. When he won that Pro show. Flex Lewis and David Henry are mini-mass monsters. David was very consistent in the mid 2000s with his conditioning, which was far better than Lee's best. And David was placing high in shows.

As I said, Lee got gift placings for his arms and popularity. That is all he is known for. If we talk about how Phil's arms out size his chest, then Lee had a bird chest in comparison.
You take Flex Lewis and David Henry and put Lee Priest in the same line up from 90s, with same EXPOSURE, meaning all things being equal, Lee would place below them.

David has 1 top 10 finish in the Olympia in a lesser era to boot. Also you say all arms, so what? since when does that mean the placing will be effected. Phil Heath is the perfect example of that meaning jack shit to judging, he would not only beat them but slaughter them

True! Besides his 2003 O showing he placed no lower than 7th against some of the best in a much tougher era where there was no 212 shows

But lee is in his 40's now, he wasted away his best "could have" prime years competing. His last real contest in the IFBB was in 06 which would make him 33/34 ish

exactly, lee would place ahead of guys like Cormier and Ronnie. Come on. Lee was a big name, only popular due to his arms.
As I said, you take Lee of his best conditioning which was when he was 199 pounds. He would get smoked by Flex Lewis and David Henry. All things being equal. You take those two of today, all things being equal and put them against Lee he still would get smoked. They are better than him aesthetically, in terms of muscularity, conditioning and separation.

Lee had pull with the mags, arm training and his famous he benches "545 pounds". He got into trouble many times, and due to his popularity he got plenty of chances.
And that is why I said all things being equal. Physique for physique, Lee would get smoked. Regardless of who he placed against back in the day.

Almost all competitors get gift placings. Flex Wheeler, Kevin L, Jay Cutler etc.

Lee is way more Muscular then David Henry, your opinions is the same BS story I have been hearing since the beginning of time, '' pull with the magazine and promotions'' Horse over horse shit, that is why Ronnie Coleman won right? because he was not a weider athlete, please brother.

Lee would eat these guys up and with ease

How is Lee more muscular than David when Lee is missing a chest, which is a big bodypart and David has better shape, size and detail in his back than Lee? Furthermore this isn't about David. Odd, how you picked him.
Lee had a problem peaking for contests. His problem areas were lower back, glutes and hamstrings. Which is why he wore those full back posing trunks. He knew this. David is very consistent when it comes to contest.

What are you talking about Ronnie for and him winning?
You know it's true that's why you said it is horseshit. Because you know it's true. Lee and Shawn wouldn't be able to say half the stuff that they said had they not been popular in the mags , or Weider Sponsored, or sponsored by big supp companies. This has nothing to do with Ronnie winning.
It's not an all or nothing game. You damn well politics plays, and Lee and you both know that he benefited as well from politics, he just played his hand and got shafted.
