I was browsing pics of Ronnie today and came over this picture ( no homo), I know that he was lighter in 2002 but this pic shows how much mass he lost in comparison to his 2000/1 form. If Cutler competed that year ( anybody knows why he didnt?) he would take it home. Levrone was pretty close but he was not his 100% anymore.

Really? Something like 1990 Olympia? He looked washed up in 2002, depleted with atrophied arms, an almost retiring Levrone had a chance, Schlierkamp also, his fifth place was a joke, but judging was shit that night... Cutler lost a great opportunity for sure... Then Coleman came back in 2003 at his freakiest ever, with a horrid gut but impressive everywere else, dominating the competition... I'd like to know what kind of sick drugs/oil protocol he implemented for such a comeback at almost 40 years old...

They didn't test for drugs that year. Ronnie and Cutler were really close in 2001 so the judges told Ronnie to come in the same weight as the Arnold Classic he won in 2001. By that time, Ronnie was pretty hard at almost 300 pounds so he had to lose a lot of weight in the last couple of weeks and he flattened out for the show. Gunter looked fantastic that night and he could have won. A couple weeks later, Gunter beat Ronnie at the GNC Show of Champions. The next year, Ronnie came back weighing almost 300 pounds onstage. Jay won the Arnold in 2002 and he sat out the Olympia that year. I agree, big mistake!

What really made him look bad was the loss of size in his arms.. It made his waist look biggish. in 03, the problem was solved.

He overdieted for that show. Chad Nichols said he could have came in at 280 in 02 also. Ronnie overdieted because the bodybuilding establishment felt he needed to come in better condition and thats what he was going for. Only he over dieted and came in smaller and flat.

Everyone nuts over him but he lls to me, kibda like 97 Doz.... out of condition, holding water..... but 'he was huge' so everyone blows their load and points to his shredded glutes and arms.... but he has shredded glutes and arms at 7%bf..... his legs look water logged, bloated water logged stomach, skin looks like theres 10lbs of water in there.

compared to 98 and to a lesser extent 99 he looked like a bloated mess in 03, at least IMO.
