I'm at the gas station fueling my Lambo Aventador and at the pump next to me is some blonde chick, early 20's putting gas in her car. I look over and see her leaning her head next to the price display with her arm extended trying to take a "selfie". She smiles, takes a pic, looks at it and does it again, about 4 times. Probably about to post it on facebook telling her "friends" she's getting gas and will get 50 likes for it.
Imagine calling one of your true friends and when they answer hello, you tell them "guess what?" and they mumble and you answer "I'm getting gas" They'd probably tell you to fuck off and hang up.

Was eating lunch yesterday (with my billionaire business partners) and observed out the window a group of college age kids mingling outside. One was a hispanic dude about 5-8 130 wearing cut off daisy duke jean shorts along with black combat boots. The other one i think was a dude, and the 3rd we never figured out if it was a boy or a girl, it had extremsly short hair but was wearing a dress.

Just your average modern youths in obama's america.

And by "a few points" you mean eighteen points, given that U6 -- the BLS metric for unemployed persons + those who have dropped out of the labor market -- is approximately 12% at the present moment.
