It looks like an antique shop, why are your paintings propped up on the floor?

Its all galvanized, sturdy strong stuff.  You can make a lot of ladders out of it.  It weighs around 70 lbs or more, big heavy thing.  Its like 500 dollars usually and I got it for 230 the day before christmas, a one day sale.  Home Depot sent it to me a week late, I called and complained and got 60 dollars credit to spend.  I told them I needed it for a job last week and lost out on it because the ladder never came.  :D

mine has always been left in the rain but the steps held up fine its those retracting latches i keep an eye on

i dont try to do to much on conventional sloped roofs, dont let it fool yah, you get up and down on one but i wouldnt be cleaning gutters that little extra lean and you slide off the roof. i always do it from the ground unless its a low slope, i bet you got some steep pitches on some areas of your place?

since eating fats seems more suited for winter keeps me nice and warm and energized in the winter.

now that spring /summer is almost here maybe ill cut back on peanutbutter now and increase pasta and pasta sauce

So your plan is to be fat in the winter and even fatter in the summer.

I guess this is the type of "humor" that can be expected from a man that owns torture devices like this :

You can’t even tell that this green mess was once cilantro. We have torture devices that are not only legal in the United States, but publicly marketed as a “good product”! This has got to stop. This killing machine has brutalized this poor cilantro.

I tried to clean the gutters today.   :-X  Failed. Got scared shitless.  :-X

I don`t even see the point of gutters to be honest with you.  I have a large overhang on all sides so its not gonna hit the house and splashback and its sloped fine so its not going to collect.  Originally it of course didn`t have gutters.  It has them now and they route the water underground to a little stream with rocks.  Totally pointless though.  Fuck I need to clean them though.

Do you find that you can absorb the sun light by laying on a big boulder similar to a reptile (no reptilian) during the warmer months to supplement what your diet lacks because of cutting fats and proteins?

its not worth the risk even though you probly could on a conventional slope still your body will turn on that fear mechanism  :D i thought man i would feel like a dumbass to slide down off of this roof right now. the only way i see possible is to repel off a roof and tie your rope to a vehicle on the other side  8). theres been alot of problems with water getting up under houses around here gutters help some with that not always

I think you're right, if your roof has the right slope you don't need them. Especially if it was designed without them. Same with the lack of soffit vents on old houses. I think they can be very important when you have a lot of roof area that sheds into an area with poor drainage too. That can force water into your basement.

I like those old traditional homes with slates roofs that have the channels built into the roof, where the downspout comes through the overhang. Some are lined with copper and have really great looking copper down spouts. I also like those big old "half round" gutters they used prior to the 60's with the huge round downspouts.

If you've got gutters though, you should probably either keep them clean or take them down. Especially when it's freezing and you can get those big ice dams that destroy your roof.
