The government website still crashing months later after "it was fixed" and now the phone numbers for the Califonia exchange are incorrect.  Amateurs.

(CBS13) — On the deadline to sign up for health coverage through Covered California, some hearing-impaired residents were sent to a chat line offering ‘hot ladies’ instead of an insurance navigator.

With the deadline looming, an Auburn man scrambled to sign up for Covered California.

A page on the site where users can calculate the cost of coverage lists an incorrect phone number as 1-888-899-4500. The number, which was correct on the Contact Us page, is similar, but just one digit off: 1-888-889-4500.

So what does the incorrect number go to? This is what greets callers instead of health insurance advice:
“Welcome to America’s hottest talk line. Ladies, to talk to interesting and exciting guys free, press one now. Guys, hot ladies are waiting to talk to you. Press two to connect free now,” the recording says.

Beating expectations, President Barack Obama's health care overhaul was on track to sign up more than 7 million Americans for health insurance on deadline day Monday, government officials told The Associated Press.

The 7 million target, thought to be out of reach by most experts, was in sight on a day that saw surging consumer interest as well as vexing computer glitches that slowed sign-ups on the HealthCare.gov website.

Two government officials confirmed the milestone, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter ahead of an official announcement.

Seven million was the original target set by the Congressional Budget Office for enrollment in taxpayer-subsidized private health insurance through new online markets created under Obama's signature legislation.

The only numbers that should be reported are the PREVIOUSLY UNINSURED INDIVIDUALS WHO SIGNED UP, THOSE THAT ACTUALLY PAID and the PERCENTAGE OF YOUNG/HEALTHY ADULTS since they are the ones who are going to be mugged in order to pay for the older, sickly persons who are more prone to use health care.
