Not disgusting. Just unique.
Kind of like the way I like chocolate ice cream on just about every day. But once in a while, it'd be neat to have raspberry swirl. I wouldn't have raspberry every day, but here and there, it does sound tempting.
And let's be honest, it's pretty hard to turn your nose up, at face value, at ice cream, even if it's a crazy flavor you've never tried in your life.
Curiosity gets the better of us all. You can always tell your buddies about the time you tried that crazy ice cream flavor too, which is a neat little anecdote. As social creatures who love stories, we crave anecdotes to tell the stories of our lives. Curiosity hooks you, but the desire to create a memorable anecdote to enrich the story of your life is what really cements the desire to try new flavors of ice cream.
