I like No One alot actually.  He does not lie about lifting and he is in it for life, like I am.  No matter what, we will always do this.  He one way, I another, but the the weights will always be lifted come hell or high water.

Brutal reality check. You call yourself a bodybuilder "no one" ?  There are amateur level female competitors who exemplify the word "bodybuilder" better than you can ever dream of.

I'm saying you can take all the drugs you can fit in a syringe and train 100%, but if you're not taking in enough kcals, of the right kcals, in the proper amounts, at the proper times, you're not gonna be "enormous" like the common misconception.

how many of you people started out taking steroids and put on the first 30lbs, or 20lbs, and thought "wow, if only I could take MORE, I'd be a Pro in no time!"

doesn't work that way.

I can maintain the same bodyweight/size at 1g/wk as I do on 6g/wk... the quality/muscularity is all that changes... with the same 'diet'.

I'm 6'2 as well but no where near the conditioning , I started as a skinny kid at 170/175

I agree with this statement.

But I wouldn't agree that food is the limiting factor when it comes to size, so long as you get enough--4-5000 calories TOPS and 300g protein or so.  And I've talked to big guys getting around 3000 calories

Honestly I think TIME is what makes freaks....stay on a good sized dose for 5 years with halfway decent fiet/training and you'll be pretty damn big

I thought this was common sense/common knowledge.

juice+excess calories = build muscle

juice+caloric surplus = lose fat retain muscle

To what extent is this true? I know that many probodybuilders have "pre-contest cutting diets" with 3000 - 4000 calories a day and continue to lose fat but I always assumed this was more to do with GH and cutting drugs like clenbuterol.

Long term use on moderate calories and adequate protein will do it.
Zack Khan eats around 4,000 cals a day.

As for the idiocy of giving people the same dosage as you and not looking the same.
Myself and no one look way better than you on much less.

so now that it's here to make a point, that was 750mg a week injectible, 40mg Ed var, 4iu hyge 5x a week and 1200cals a day. 235 pounds.

given superstar ESFitness posts that's 1/6th his anabolics intake, no insulin, and a fraction of the gh. oh and a 1/5 of the cals.

I want to see what all that looks like. I can't even begin to imagine it.

in esfitnness' case the emptiest drum makes the most noise > in my experience if a guys a know it all, chances are he looks like shit.

Forgive my ignorance but thinking logically, that kind of information blows my mind. Is this seemingly inexplicable phenomenon mostly due to the hygetropin?

Forgot to say its not unheard of with chronic ultra low carbers who use a psmf. Just check out the no one/ galeniko method for tips.

Kinda sad when a grown muscular 230lb man fucks up his metabolism so bad that a teenage girl has higher maintenance cals.

Lots of broscience out there. I think that in any individual, YMMV. I am trying to figure out what works for me, not what worked for Zack Khan or even no one or UKJeff (though I would kill for either of those physiques).

For now, I want to gain some muscle while not turning into a bloated fatass, so I am trying to stay 300-500 cals above my perception of "maintenance"

Since I don't want to walk around with a scale. I am ball parking it. I will fail on this, but the nature of my failure will help me to understand the path of righteousness.
