I used to get sleep paralysis regularly. Couldn't breathe or make a noise, it was horrible. Would always get it when I'd been taking certain things and was up for 36+ hours. I'd be so tired I'd fall asleep dreaming before I was properly asleep, hence the sleep paralysis.

Once thought there was a corpse beside me, couldn't breathe and was trying to scream/alert girlfriend. Instead my arms moved in slow motion and I was just moving mouth without making noise. Horrible.

I remember taking GHB one night to sleep, after about 20mins I woke up thinking someone was pushing my face into the pillow (no homo) I opened my eyes and I was facing up.

oddest sensation.

I do dream quite vividly as well. a few "in the mouth of madness", screams for good measure.
