Glute PIP. It does get better, right?
« on: April 13, 2014, 05:02:43 AM »
On Friday morning, I did my 5th glute shot. I have been alternating, so it was my 3rd shot in my right glute. The first shot had PIP for almost a week! The next two appear to have pretty good PIP for at least a day.

It does get better, right? Any strategies for minimizing it? Heating pad? Ice? Stretching? Foam roller? Willing to try anything.

Thanks.

First few times it hurts for longer until you get used to it a bit more. Then you will be pinning no problem and not even thinking about it. When you get a bit of scar tissue buildup it starts to hurt a bit more again though.

I'm still bit of a novice but some people talk about warming up the oil, I've never bothered with that.

I do trickle a little out before I shoot though, goes in like butter! I also go really slow, obviously easier depending on where you're injecting.

Yes, but it may just be the gear itself.  Gear made under questionable conditions will usually have more alcohol in it to prevent any contaminants from growing.  So you won't get an abcess, but the gear will be painful.

No easy way to know without trying other brands.  But yes, good gear should be painless, and your muscles shouldn't keep hurting after injecting.

Yeah, but the left glute takes it well, whereas the right glute gets insulted easily. Same size pin and same gear.

Hmm I wouldn't sweat it then.  It's only been three shots in that site, most people who say "it doesn't hurt" have probably had 100+ shots in their glute.

Does the PIP impact your ability to walk/workout? If not,  I would just wait for it to get better, I'd imagine you won't feel anything by the 7-10th shot.

If it's causing you to limp, look up the "ventroglute" injection site.  It's on the side of your hip, can hold a lot of oil, and any pain will be minimal.  Very underrated injection site

Thanks. Once I start going, the pip subsides until I sit around the office again. Grrrrr....

I might look into the ventroglute site if it persists.

Switched to a #25 this morning in my troublesome right glute. Takes for fucking ever to draw the oil through that fucker and pushing it took at least 2x the time. But if it keeps my protesting glute quieter, it's worth it.

The #25 seems to be much nicer. That, or my ass is getting used to being a pincushion.

ok then you just have some painful stuff, which does not mean anything bad, we all have come across painful stuff, you should get used to it, word of advise, if you come across painless gear, stick to that source, painless gear is must for myself.

It's oddly only painful on my right side. My left glute takes it happily.

6 weeks in! I am not that much different from natty in that pic (took it last week). I had gotten as far as I could with training, diet and supplements. You either need to quit the game or change the rules.

If you mix with a non-painful compound i.e. test e...even half a mil, mix it well in the barrel and warm it up before shooting in the syringe, this I find gets rid of PIP or minimises it a great deal.

I am using test e and I warm it prior to use.

What's the dosage per ml?

UG gear can crash and crystalize in the muscle, this is the most common cause for prolonged PIP. More common with higher dosed compounds.
