Man gets beaten by cop for telling him to shut up

I'll try and see if there is a more precise report of events. If this was just a walking pedestrian, then I retract my previous post. You can't beat people for being a nasty drunk.

So did I read that right, the cops never reported what happened? Just beat the guy and then never filed any paperwork?

Basically, the guy took the beating and was let go, one commanding officer retired for letting it happen, and the baton cop sat it out for a while.

Also, the guys around the car are the beaten guy's friends, apparently he got too drunk and decided he wanted to drive, and started fighting them for the keys, etc.... and that's how the whole bit started.
