we all know he has been convicted of murder and will spend the rest of his life in prison .but is it not sad that we from the bbing community continue to condemn him instead of giving him support for his contribution to bbing.i don't for one moment condone what he has done.it is a tragic situation and he has to live with it for the rest of his life.let us write to him and show him he has not been forgotten.

I believe Betil was cheated out of two Sandows in 82 and 83. I know for a fact that he refused the Weiders advances in 81 and he paid the price. Joe and Ben are equally to blame for the murders in my opinion but I don't see them on death row because they are white and Jewish.

Brianx you miss my point. If Bertil had gotten a fair shake then he wouldn't have killed noone. I trained with that boy in 1978 when he worked the London subway and he wouldn't have hurt a fly. Circumstances (including the manipulation by the Weiders and his so called friend Rick Wayne) cost these poor girls their lives.

Did any of you read the big article in the Dec 2005 issue of Flex. Betil explains his innocence and how after the first mistrail the pressue was on the goverment to convict him. He is another innocent man stuck to rot in jail and no one cares.

Medford: There is only one prison in St.Kitts

Sorry I do have the exact address but it is in Basseterre. If anyone seriously wants to write to him - if you simply addressed it to him, at Her Majesty's Prison, Basseterre, St Kitts it would probably get to him.

We get alot of mail like that down here.
