I am 55 so I understand what you are saying but some of your childhood activities have me puzzled.Bushwalking? Is that stomping on a woman's hairy crotch?Making cubby houses? Is that making a home for one of the Mouseketeers?Acorn fights? Smacking each other with your nuts? Please explain for us Americans. Thank you!
Although I am 32, my generation was much different than the kids today. I spent a significant amount of my time outside. Manhunt was my favorite game.
I really have no desire to know what went into this game. Especially how the winner was declared. Was this played in the sauna at LA Fitness?
I knew someone was going to say this. lolhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manhunt_%28urban_game%29
Ahhh, so you played tag. But I guess Manhunt sounds more exciting when you are a kid. We used to play tag with BB guns. It was like old school paintball.
ROFL!!! We use to shoot each other with one of those weak bb guns.Had an air rifle too, but luckily we knew better than to fuck around with it.

playing video games resulted in my fondest childhood memories, i feel sorry for you suckers who didn't get to experience the same
Yes. The neighborhood I grew up in Queens, NYC, everyone knew each other for a 10-15 block radius. We used to knock on peoples doors and they used to let us in their house to go hide on the roof to hide lol. We used to hide in peoples backyard, etc. No one minded. Man, I miss my childhood. Then when I was 14, I moved to another part of queens that sucked. I definitely yearn for the first 13 years of my life. It was awesome. Now I am old and cynical.
Did you play stickball or is that a stereotype? Being from the Midwest we would imagine it being tough to grow up in Queens. We were wrong, sounds pretty cool.

Of course I played stick ball. Had myself one of these. Drew a white big box with an X in the middle for the strike zone. Damn, its bringing back old memories.
Oh, like big flat roofs? Cool
