If Heath and Ronnie end up tied (fantasy world) then Ronnie would obviously win out.

But,...... If Phil Heath wins more Sandows than everyone, he will become the greatest of all time.

No debate.

it's the strongest in a weaker era.

Phil wouldn't have 4 sandows if he competed in Ronnie's era.

Peyton Manning wouldn't have so many passing yards/records if he played in Montana's era.

Nobody looks at Drew Brees and his mountain of yards and says "Yeah, that dude is totally better than Joe Montana".   Phil's padding his stats in a weak insulin gut era.  He's the best of the rest.

Exactly.  Well said.
Hell, Cutler has what 3 or 4 Olympias (I honestly forget) and nobody considers him a better bodybuilder than Flex, Kevin, Shawn, or Chris who have a total of zero combined.

Every era said that. I think that Kai would beat Dorian every time.

Ronnie is my number 1, but if someone wins 9 or 10, then they would be the best.

Funny that Wolfox gets banned and then this clown starts turbo-posting again.  ::)

These data were recently presented at a conference on the matter in Belgrade.

Heath wouldn't even have ONE Sandow if he competed in Ronnie's era.  Or practically any other era for that matter.

The guy is a tiny-framed drug-bloated abomination who only has a title because his competition is an even worse looking hideous pile of drug lumps.  Heath could win until he's 50 years old and still wouldn't be in the top 30 of all time.  A shitty looking multi-winner is still shitty looking.

"you're only as good as the competition you beat"

Second place is taken by a bloat gut guy with the shape of a cannonball.

Well, that's a bit different. Cutler has competed and beaten all those u just mentioned so Cutler IS better.

From a bbing perspective that is

"Fans" "schmoes" that's entirely diff as well , most prob would prefer the others mentioned as far as physique compared to cutler

I see a very strong negative correlation between their post count.

But as always within science, correlation does not always imply causality. ;D

Heath could in theory win 8 or 9 Olympias as I don't see anyone coming up in the amateur ranks that could realistically beat him in the next few years - maybe Ramy with good conditioning will get close but he's not marketable and no-one seems to know or pronounce his full name anyway so adding him to the list of champions doesn't seem plausible. Kai on his day is a close second but politics will never award him the Olympia title based on his past.

Add to that, this is a very poor era we're in for bodybuilding at the moment. Heath would have placed well in the 90's but no way would he have won an Olympia title.

So to answer the question, I don't think winning 9 or 10 Olympias will make him the best of all time, based on the other competitors he's up against. Not his fault mind you. You can only beat those that are put in front of you.

Yes he would be. But he would never achieve a very gay physique, like Arnold (and many others), at all.

I thought simple math summed up the debate perfectly.

9 or 10 is more than 8.

Shizzo we are not comparing numbers here we are comparing physiques. Do you really think Heath would have beaten Coleman, Yates or Schwarzenegger?

This, and those times, except Coleman, were already in decline with a bunch of overrated athletes...

Also this, and the "cannonball bloat guy", when in shape, is even better than the narrow champ of insulin...
