Because Christians fear Muslims and Jews are the only ones that actively engage them and support a strong no tolerance policy for their bullshit.  Christians wish to align themselves in that regard.

Good point! It never makes sense to me when people blame Jews for the mass Muslim immigration to Europe either. The Muslims are hurting European Jews just as bad as any European, tons of news stories about that. (Although for some reason tons of Jews write articles praising mass immigration, probably a liberal thing though, like you said. They just happen to be Jews)
