I learned a long time ago that spending too much money on shoes is a waste.  I bought a real nice expensive pair.  Had a bout 20 positive comments that day I wore them.  The sad part is was all guys commenting on how nice they were.  Women didn't give a shit.  Why spend money to have other dudes admire them?

Bought these impulsively recently only as I used to have them when I was 14. Surprinsingly good for deadlifts and squats as they have firm flat soles.

nice. I like the subtle style to those. Can wear them everyday type shoes.

 Ive been wearing skateboard shoes to the gym for years for the same reason (flat soles). 

Also, I have been considering buying a pair of shoes I used to have as a youngster as well (black n silver Cdubbz Dada supreme)

off topic- me and my buddy back in grade school used to sneak up on basketball and football games and Sprint on in to the game, yell "INTERCEPTION!!"
