So - this can be fixed right?
« on: April 24, 2014, 08:18:06 AM »
A bit of glue or something and it'll be fine, right?

Why is it other people's 4 year old daughters are going to ballet, saying how cute puppies are and playing the piano & mine is whacking the TV with a kid-size armchair?

Don't give your daughter a shitty Hello-Kitty toy. Sorry, but you deserve the beating, bro.

I am still trying to coax out the "why" from her.

She's admitted to hitting it with the chair. She had a time out as punishment. Now all is well and she's admitting she did it but when pushed for why, she just smiles and tries to change the subject.

I'm guessing I'll never know but I am pretty curious.

Well - I'm sure she hit it with the chair because she couldn't reach it with her fist but that really doesn't give me closure.

As additional punishment, dad is now mostly watching Cartoon Network on the TV in the living room.

Better a broken TV than a broken daughter.
These displays are incredibly fragile and I've seen people destroy their beloved "entertainment boxes" via the most laughable assets - slippers, empty plastic bottles, elbows, pets, etc.

Yeah - when I asked her what she wanted for her third Birthday, she asked for a Milwall season ticket.

Should have seen the signs then, I guess....

To be fair, I feel like doing the same after 5 minutes of commercial television.

Exactly I bet that annoying Barney show came on and she tossed her sippy cup at the TV!

You should buy her one of these. Every kid should have at least one.

I managed to blow up the telly as a child by spilling a glass of milk down the back of it.

I remember the outcome being slightly more violent than a timeout.
