A woman working out at the West Ashley Planet Fitness says she was asked to leave mid-workout Monday night because her "belly was hanging out." The customer, Melissa Mantor, is also 18 weeks pregnant.

Im really tired of everyone talking about Planet Fitness. Cant everyone see its a public gym, but actually desiring to be a private gym for the gay/lesbian beta class out there? So their model is to harass and harangue anyone that doesnt fit in a medium sized t-shirt and perspires while training. Lets accept this and move on.

What's the benefit of working out while pregnant? Okay the first month..... but why bother after that.

Be fat, merry, and have a healthy baby. worry about working out after.

Because she didn't want to turn into a fat tub of lard, wheezing every time she went up a flight of stairs.

Sound familiar?

The pregnancy, birth and recovery are all easier when you are fit.

As you know, just carrying around all that extra weight tires you out & exercise helps that.

A fat momma = a healthy baby. I don't see any issue with a mother to be, taking a 7-8 month break.

Mothers are supposed to gain weight. Deal with it. Lose it after you have a healthy baby.
