Bodybuilding Survey Time - How many have you heard of?

1. eugen sandow.    
2. alan calvert.    
3. bobby pandour aka valdimir wladyslaw.    
4. otto arco.

6. bernarr macfadden.    
7. hippolyte triat.    
8. john grimek.    
9. al stephen.

apparently nobody ever heard of anyone on this list. one of these names actually invented and sold the first barbell as we know it today . he started the milo barbell co. in 1902.

All but Otto Arco and Hippolyte Klein.  Bernarr "Body Love" Macfadden was a riot of a man.

Sig Klein, yes.  Hippolyte, not so much. 

What about the great J.C. Hise?  He was one of my inspirations for the 20 rep squat.  The only Hippolyta I ever knew of was the fabled Queen of the Amazons.

If you meant Sig Klein, I think I am in "A" territory!

;D jc hise the good old 20 rep squat and perry "ironman mag" rader added the pullovers next take a weight you can do 10 reps with and do 20 than follow with pullovers. anthony dittilo was also of the hise bulk routine school.

yup know the story as the calf grew into a bull milo's strength increased from lifting it daily.
