The judging this time was like rolling dices. The two tallest guys were 1st and 2nd while being out of shape and by far not the best, 3rd was a midget (Dellarosa), while the way better, bigger and more conditioned midgets were 7th and 9th (Bonac and Abbaspour), and the guy with the by far best overall-package (size, conditioning, symmetry) was 4th.

Can someone explain the judging criteria they were going by?

No need to put thoughts in it, in most cases it's absolutely meaningless to discuss bb shows results.
Often there are guys who should be in top 5 finishing out of top 10 and vice versa.
It's not a sport, it's a beauty contest for steroid junkies (sometimes they call themselves "athletes" lol). Glutamine-creatine endorsement and g4p sessions are the only areas where these "men" can prove useful. Do your math. : )
