I've been down this road with Craftsman lawn equipment and their shoddy attempts to service crap equipment to begin with. Dude, end your misery now and fork over the bucks for a better brand. You'll be better off in the long run.

I’m sorry you are having problems, but I have never had any trouble with anything from Sears.

I can’t help but believe that it is something simple.

If you use it for light home use for just you, yes.

But if you've ever put it through a daily workout (i.e. commercial use) a Sears product is jut not going to hold up. This is what the Falcon is learning.

Example. I went through multiple Sears grass trimmers and was constantly bringing them in for service. I finally gave up and bought Echo trimmers. I used them year after year with DAILY commercial use in a landscaping business, and didn't have to do much besides change a spark plug and replace the plastic head cover where the line comes out. (it would get worn down).

I still have one of the Echos from the business and use it at my home. I do jack for maintenance and it runs every season.
