Depends entirely on the situation, you must adapt accordingly to the table dynamics and who is playing and what state of mind frame they are at in the game.

This is more of a live poker perspective than online poker.

Generally speaking the tighter your opponents play the looser more open you should play to exploit and bluff more.

The looser/more aggressive your opponents play the tighter you should play.

I am considered by most as an exceptionally loose/aggressive player.

I give a lot of action which means I get a lot of action.

I play a high variance game.

What Casinos do you recommend in London?

My friend (went to school with him) came 6th in world series a few years back and won $1.8m and had career earnings in millions before that. Eoghan O'Dea is his name, was 2nd in chip count coming into final table. His dad also dated my mom before she met my dad, was a professional gambler and has a few bracelets. Think I'd ask him first.

Depends what you want to play.

Best place for poker and decent stakes is probably the Palm Beach.

For smaller games the Vic, higher games there mainly PLO and good mixed game.

I love the Palm personally.

I played with Donnacha few times but not many, he is great cash game player no doubt. Eoghan I never played with but I heard of him.

I like his dad better.  

Donnacha was Olympic level swimmer. Impressed you know him. Eoghan was so easy going, he was more into tennis in school, went to states etc but I still hammered him   That said, my old training partner was in his year (I was a year older) said when in sixth year they got nailed by a teacher playing poker and the teacher said "you'll never make money gambling" to him. Few years and few million dollars later and look who's laughing.

Dunno how he has balls to play pro. 15 months without a win paying 2-3k per week for tournies without a major payout and I'd top myself. He went through that then won 900k in a few months followed by world series. Plus Ben Lamb (sp?) donked him.

Its nice to get out of the house.

 

Dunno if you ever coke up on it but I used to play while on mephedrone. Confident and decisive. Obv I had fundamentals, odds, levelling etc, but the confidence and apathy to losing made me way way better than I would normally be. Since I kicked all that shit I can't face the game. Sad really. It was the high that got me playing risky which you need. Modafinil would've done shit for me. It was a side effect of the drug that I'd want to play, not a prerequisite. Hard to explain. Put it this way, amphetamines make repetitive tasks attractive. Hence I played a lot of warcraft too. All in the past.

i have it. its a good read. if you play cards you wont need the concepts for 1-2, 2-5NL all you need for those games is patience, its a book suited for 5-10 and higher.

Isn't that book available through torrents these days? There was also supposed to be a really expensive PLO book by some high stakes players I just never followed if it got released after black friday
