Jewish is a religion, White is a race!
Jewish is an ethnic group and a religion. There's plenty of Jewish atheists. They would not identify as white.

According to the NBA constitution....a 3/4 vote can force a sale of an owner's team if their actions adversely affect the league. So there's all the justification they need, bro.

First off.....let's remind everyone that Sterling is a lawyer by trade.

secondly......forcibly removing Sterling from the NBA is unlikely to happen. The NBA's constitution, which is confidential, reportedly contains language permitting owners to authorize the league to sell a team without an owner's consent. The language, SI.com is told, only covers very limited circumstances and these circumstances concern team finances -- namely, when an owner can't pay his bills.

There is reportedly no language authorizing the NBA to sell a team because of an owner's hurtful remarks or embarrassing behavior. Even if constitutional language could be construed to authorize a forced sale of the Clippers, NBA owners would likely be reluctant to do so given the precedent it would set.

We'll have to wait and see if they can get the number of owners needed to vote for it.

I heard it was already done. Gotta sell.  Sign up for nba by laws to play in their league, then you get hung by them.  He bought them for like 12 mill... He'll make 500 mill.

And if he wanted, he could put her in a hole for wire fraud, etc.

He did nothing illegal, just distasteful.

What if they hurt (or potentially hurt) the NBA's bottomline?
The NBA after all is a business, and pride themselves of the product that they sell globally. Wouldn't this hurt their global image?

Sherman Act....the NBA Owners as a group cannot "boycott" Sterling. They may try to pressure him while public sentiment is hot, but they will not take the chance this goes to court under anti-trust.

Same way they were going to "force" the group that was going to buy the Kings last year to stay in Sac and not move to Seattle. First mention of anti-trust and the NBA Owners back off.

Icelord, Iam living in a nig free country, one of the Baltic countries. Believe me, Iam very happy to live here, I can go outside in night or whatever. My friend went to USA, Washington and he was told to not leave his appartment at night because of nigs. USA is a fcked up country because of them and it will get even worse.
I was a big fan of basketball and rap, but when I saw that racim whats coming out of blacks and black celebrities I am not a fan of none of them. Maybe I growed up from rap - that music is so infantile i cant even listen to it.
The fact is that blacks are more racist then whites and that shit that they built everything and invented anything, Jesus was black and other shit, Iam so tired of that, I cant even stand them anymore. Of corse there are good people too. But better lets stay in our own places, africans in Africa, whites in Europe and asians in Asia.
Sorry for my english, it isnt my native language  :-X
Yep, no crime, no mafia...just a wonderful, wonderful place...a virtual utopia. And the atypical segregationist viewpoint, until he falls for some woman or man of color...then it's a "uh, uh...."

A true racist buys the race he hates Ferraris and Bentleys.  ::)

Black people calling Sterling a racist are stupid.

Yep, he even told her she could sleep with blacks. Doesn't sound racist to me, but the media has gone apeshit with this.

Clippers player salaries last year were $73 million. Sterling pays black men millions of dollars to play for his team, but because of one 5 minute audio recording he gets banned for life and fined. It's also a double-standard because Sterling's white. For example, Ray Lewis was involved in a murder. No ban, but a $250,000 fine. So saying something "racist" is a fine 10 times worse than conspiracy to commit murder?

Jeezus, black people in the NBA are doing way too much when it comes to this situation.  They are getting all emotional about this.  Acting like MLK just rose from the grave.  Talking about how proud they are of the NBA and the commissioner.  Blowing this shit way out of proportion.  The guy hates Blacks and Mexicans.  He got banned.  End of story.

He can't "hate" them but so much... That Doc Rivers guy is making 7 million a year to be a coach.

That's a lot of scratch to be giving to someone you "hate".

What did he really say on this tape?

He just doesn't want his whore to broadcast that she associates with blacks.

I think he's a racist and a scumbag but based on the reaction you would think he murdered a bus full of schoolkids.

Out of proportion.

Now this shit is getting bodybuilding-related. UCLA won't take money Sterling gave for kidney research ;D.

Quote
UCLA is saying thanks but no thanks to Donald Sterling's $3 million pledge ... saying essentially its dirty money and they don't want it.

Sterling gifted $3 mil to the school, with an initial check for $425,000.  The money was earmarked for kidney research.
