I would put some Dextrose in with the mix post work out.  Fills up glycogen stores and transports creatine. 

Dextrose is dirt cheap.

i mix mine together all the time to....but i've heard to only mix it once you are about to consume it.

yeah, i'll do that... I make a shake with one cup milk, one cup oj, 2 schoops whey, 2 scoops creatine, and 1 banana with some ice... with 2 eggs.... blend it up and chug it... for a post workout shake... tastes pretty decent.
