Aaron Williamson Cast as T-800 In TERMINATOR: GENESIS

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be joined by another T-800 Terminator machine in Terminator: Genesis. Body-builder Aaron Williamson revealed that he'll be playing a T-800 in the next installment of the franchise. Here's what he had to say:

“Thanks to an amazing team of people who help me get better each week, both physically & creatively, I’ll be playing a T-800 (Terminator) in the upcoming production ‘Terminator: Genesis’. I’m extremely grateful & motivated as this new chapter begins to take shape.”
What has yet to be seen is if he will be playing a new character in the movie, or just a younger version of the original model that Schwarzenegger made famous. In Terminator: Salvation they used a body-builder's body for the T-800 and then digitally added on Schwarzenegger's head. It looked awful, but technology has improved since then. When asked by TheTerminatorFans.com who he would be playing this was his reply:

“I’m not really at liberty to discuss anything w/ regard to this part. My social media followers have been following my journey since I returned to the states from Iraq, which is why I shared that photo; my desire to overcome adversity has really moved people. Where I’m at in my life right now is destiny & it’s truly a blessing. I grew up as a skinny kid watching the original Terminator & was fascinated by Arnold which is the man who inspired my career in fitness. To be a part of this production is a dream come true & a very special moment for me.”
The image above is something that he came up with and posted. As far as I know it's not official production art.

The film is being directed by Thor: The Dark World's Alan Taylor, and it also stars Emilia Clarke, Jason Clarke, Jai Courtney, J.K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi, Byung-hun Lee, Michael Gladis, Sandrine Holt, and Laeta Kalogridis.

The rumored idea for the story is that it will weave together several ideas from the previous Terminator movies, and in the process give fans a fresh new story about Skynet's uprising and its plan to wage war on mankind.

the idea for t5 sounds much better than i thought bringing in a back to the future type scenarios. Apparantly one scene thats leaked from the script is you see the scene from 1984 where the punks get killed at the start and then in walks a second version of arnolds terminator

Arnold Schwarzenegger previously revealed that he'll play an older Version of his T-800 Terminator in the upcoming "Terminator: Genesis," indicating that even though the robot doesn't age, his skin does.

He went on to say that there will also be a younger version. At the time it was assumed that Schwarzenegger's face will be placed on top of another actor's body using CGI to re-create the look from the original film. Today, we know the actor who'll play the younger version and how he fits into the story.

Aaron V. Williamson, a bodybuilder who has worked as a fitness consultant on such films as "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," "Oldboy," "12 Years a Slave" and "Django Unchained," revealed that he has beed hired to play a young T-800 in "Terminator: Genesis."

Hitfix then learned that Williamson will be used in a scene similar to "Back to the Future." The site explained: "The 'Terminator: Genesis' script folds into the first film in the series. There's a scene in the script where literally, we see the scene in the first 'Terminator' where Arnold steps out, the punks threaten him, he rips Bill Paxton's heart out and takes his clothes and wanders off. And as soon as that scene ends, another Arnold Schwarzenegger who's older, and bearded and a very different version of the Terminator, comes walking in from the other side and plays another scene, right at the scene of that first incident."
