Forget about it. At your age your circadian rhythm is screwed. So even if you would be serious about going to bed early and waking up early, you would have trouble with it.

Try having for instance, as I have, a neighbour who lives immediately upstairs in flats with floors 100 years old.  Old Victorian houses converted into flats (apartments to you).

So he has bred.  He has a new wee innocent babb and a wifey up there.  The bab cries alot.  So it's like every two hours.  I think they're teaching it to sing.  Next it'll be teething.

Best bet is to put your head down approx 10 or 11pm and just stay in bed till 7am.  Try to get 8 hours straight.  Don't get up, stay horizontal even if you can't sleep, just attempt to zen.  Obviously that's not possible but try.

It's 9:15pm here now and I'm trying to calm down for 10pm and hit my bed.

You could try meditating.  Turn off the news.  Shut down your computer.

Have a nice bath.  Or a slow dance.  Put on comfy bedtime clothing.  Some hot chocolate?  Lie down.  Attempt to dream.  Try to shut down and relax for 8 hours.

Or

stay up all night and remain awake all day the next day.  Try that, it works.

Then the next night carry on and go to bed when it gets dark and get up at daylight.

The next night go to sleep when you ought to and wake up when the sun comes up and go to work.  Get with the program.  It's too beautiful outside to be indoors at 4pm.

I get up at 4:15am Monday through Friday to train and have so for six years after the first few weeks you get used to it. Downside I automatically get up that time on weekends but go back to sleep

I use melatonin and found it works well for me.   Disconnect from all electronic devices and make sure the room is as dark as it can be.

This is excellent sleep aid advice and works for most people. Taking one 25 mg tablet of Benadryl helps a lot of folks sleep, too. Also, avoid stimulating activities close to bedtime.

Something else you may wish to try is dimming your monitor or tablet and watching an episode of The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross right before turning in.

Just bust ass and engage in things requiring more brainpower than usual.

lift and run harder than you normally do.  Engage in learning something very strenuous.  Sleep early, like a baby.
