When you open everything up, the energy of life, latent within you will shoot up and open up your pineal at it's full capacity the up through your crown becoming aware of your unconscious portions and ultimately becoming conscious on the superconscious level. That is the purpose of all these lives. THAT, is your true Self. It is a task for many many lifetimes and all arrive there at some point and all have to.

who am I - such a simple question on the face of it. I am constantly evolving and constantly questioning everything about me and the world around me. don't you ever fear that it is an arrogance to believe that you truly know yourself in your entirety, what else would there be to quest for on the path of understanding if you knew everything?

I would argue that you believe you know who you are and where you come from but is only belief in the same way the religious on here have an unshakeable belief in god.
