Religion of Peace (and irony) Geert Wilders v Nutjobs
« on: May 03, 2014, 04:55:01 AM »
A Dutch politician, Geert Wilders, who said Muslims living in the Netherlands had to tear out half the Koran if they wanted to live there and that extremism is a part of Islam... has a fatwa on him and has received death threats. Yet Sky News still call him outspoken and far-right? Love his like I give a fuck expression.

Wilders is best known for his criticism of Islam, summing up his views by saying, "I don't hate Muslims, I hate Islam".[5] Although identifying Islamic extremists as 5–15% of Muslims,[93] he argues that "there is no such thing as 'moderate Islam'" and that the "Koran also states that Muslims who believe in only part of the Koran are in fact apostates".[82] He suggests that Muslims should "tear out half of the Koran if they wished to stay in the Netherlands" because it contains "terrible things" and that Muhammad would "... in these days be hunted down as a terrorist".[100]

Geert Wilders has just learned that an Australian imam named Feiz Muhammad has issued a fatwa calling for the Dutch politician’s beheading. Our Flemish correspondent VH has translated a couple of Dutch-language articles on the topic, and includes additional material about Mr. Muhammad from various Australian sources.

Any religion that has fatwa and jihad in its mission statement starts off on the wrong foot.
