I find this reboot better than the series of Raimi, still waiting for an episode that can give justice to Spiderman's most powerful and dangerous enemy, Venom (and maybe put Carnage in the mix)... Venom in Raimi's Spiderman 3 was a bad joke...

Once I saw Jamie Foxx was playing Elektro and Rhino was a robot that was enough for me to never want to see this shit.  I've tried watching the first one and couldn't resist the urge to want to punch the TV in hopes that I can inflict pain on that actor playing Peter Parker

I feel you... The first reboot was watchable, as the first one by Raimi, 2 and 3 sucked... Foxx playing Elektro is a joke, Rhino a robot? Wtf?

Uhhh...Steve Ditko is still alive and Johnny Romita designed the Rhino in the comics... But I'm sure they both did a twirl when they saw their characters in this movie.

Its amazing that with all these good producers and actors, they just cant seem to get Spiderman and Hulk right... I think there is huge money in a good Hulk reboot, They just cant seem to get it right, first bruce banner, then ed norton...

I have no desire to watch the new spiderman movies.  I was in my twenties when the Raimi spiderman film was released and the character was more appealing when I was younger. Ill probably catch it on cable.

this new X-men sucks.......the wolverine movie is the only part I like. I'm a Big Fan of the X-men cartoon of the 90's and I don't understand why they don't bring a true Villain in these X-men movies like the Apocalypse.....

The character is good, but I could never stand Hugh Jackman.

Going to see Spiderman today.  Do not have high hopes after reading this thread.  From what I heard, 90% of the movie is CGI overload.
