This is no surprise. They're a bunch of lying, cheating, treasonous criminals.

Of course it's no surprise. GWB set the precedent when he refused to co-operate on investigations into 911

Now you're bitching because his predecessor did it first? If I recall, they weren't looking to attack Bush on 911

Good point, he really played a large part in opening the door to all of this.

at least Bush didn't PROMOTE all the people that dropped the ball on his 9/11, like Obama is doing.

What you recall? lol

???  Dude, don't you remember?

Pearl harbor investigation took 7 days to begin.  Columbia explosion 7 days.  Challenger 8 days.

Bush fought a 911 investigation for 441 days.   Only when the 9/11 widows marched on the congressional cafeteria, did they finally put up $3m then $13m for a very narrow investigation that one of the commission members actually called a whitewash.

So while I've hung up my 911 truther hat, I still have to help "recall" when I read things like that.  441 days, they fought a 911 investigation.  Nice little precedent for obama to follow.

seriously, i've long retired from 911 CTers and will let the history books study that... wasted way too much time stressing/arguing 9/11 back in the day...

and I was one of the FIRST getbiggers to say I believed obama let benghazi happen for political gain (to hide what was happening there, and to keep the story of 300 wasted bad guys from the headlines so close to election), so please don't go labeling me a lib or a kneepadder.

If you want to deteriorate this debate into "bush had a plunger with TNT written on it and caused 911", please by all means, you do that.  I'm sure there's a CT board for that.

If you want to dispute the FACT that bush fought a 911 investigation for 441 days, please, I'd love to see what you have to say.  I swear, it's been over 12 years... we gotta get smarter, bro.  We can't just revert to "oh, libs blame bush, haha, oh brother!" like we did a decade ago.  Can't we be grownups and say "yes, bush had his reasons, but he did in fact fight an investigation for over a year, and now Obama is doing the same"?

Come on man, PLEASE tell me that 10 years of debating politics here has helped us move from repubs vs libs, bush vs obama, kinda crap we used to argue?   We're SMARTER now, man.

The only reason that didn't occur is because there's only one office above Vice President, and bush was already in it

PS: Brownie, ...you're doing a helluva job.

Who opened that door for the current President to walk through unopposed?

From executive orders, unconstitutionalities, huge numbers of signing statements, kill lists... To refusal to co-operate with federal commissions... Bush put them in place. I can't give the little shrub credit for interventionism, meddling, and regime changes using covert ops & private mercs to terrorize & destabilize... that's been going on since Eisenhower's days.

I forgot how much 911 debates made my blood pressure rise lol.

I swear I never touched alcohol until I got into debating that stuff, 10 years back haha.

The amount of just pure emotion vs. actual information is mind-boggling.  I'm too old for that shit.  Going to eat some greens and watch netflix.

Why should they cooperate?  It's not like anyone will be held in contempt and then prosecuted for failing to comply with subpoenas, etc.
