just let professionals invest it in safe sure stuff and live a modest life style, sleep late everyday, bodybuild, post on getbig




That's tricky, 5-6% returns are pretty much all you can count on over the long run.  Assuming you spend your dividends each year, that's a $50-60,000 income.  That could certainly sustain a decent lifestyle, but inflation may throw a wrench in the works.

With a frugal lifestyle, it could probably suffice....but it's not enough to put my mind at ease.
