Good film, way better than Generation Iron.

Top down on the Lee Moran squat -

.

.

.

Also, I'm not sure if they mentioned it, but on the squat before it (#953), he bit down on his tongue, and his mouth was filled with blood for the rest of the meet.

His gravestone in the Hell's Angels plots in Oakland -

Whats the point of being overly strong?
Would you carry all your bags of cement to the car rather than use a trolley in the hardware store?

Do you lug all your shopping around in the supermarket?

Nobody gives a fuck if you are strong except dumb gym rats.

That's bullshit...these guys are all competing. The average gym rat wants to pick up chicks. I see no point in going to the extreme with drugs and diet for that. Some of these guys at superheavyweight are fat and geared but raw is coming back and most of the top guys are pretty lean.

Even crossfit is evolving into that new pro fitness league thing. They're saying guys will make pretty decent money. Best thing to ever happen to strength athletics is friggen crossfit. All the NAS sponsored strongman events I've gone to have all been held at crossfit gyms.

every strong pro brags about their strength.
every weak pro is always talking about how strength means nothing, all that matters is how you look etc.

If I had the choice of an amazing physique, and to be weak as shit...Id take it over being the strongest guy in the world and shan hammond  buIld. but deep down every guy wants both.

If an ifbb pro walks in and can't get 405 off his chest , do you really respect him? not really..

It was going to happen eventually. What I believe may happen is a cross pollination of power lifting, Crossfit, bodybuilding and men's modeling and it will be that you look good, lift good size weight, and you are atheistic, with size, shape and symmetry. Also possibly forcing bbing down a road of "fuctional strength" meets prior to the show.

Always funny to see how insecure some of the BBing types get when they see a overly strong guy or impressive feats of strength.
