Pop should have put Wiggs on the FT stripe in the 4th quarter.   I bet he would have knocked down 3 outta 4 of those freebies, and given SA the win.

SA didn't get outplayed and Lebron still had a great game.....Miami was in "beast mode" and barely edged SA by 2 points.

SA lost because of stupid missed free throws and none of the Spurs had a big game either.  Beast mode Miami beat an 85% Spurs.

Lebron went into full Jordan mode, hitting 90% of his shots in the 2nd half including all his 3 pointers, and they won by 2.

For the heat to beat the spurs, lebron has to play almost the whole game, every game, in full Jordan mode. This fact favors the spurs

Lebron was excellent.....95% of the time he is amazing....he's a beast.....6'8" and 265lbs........he's better than every player on the Spurs.

I agree though....to beat the Spurs he'll have to dominate every game and the Pacers held him 7 points on one occassion....that won't beat the Spurs.  He'll need 30+ nights every game to win and be a monster on defense as well.   Wade is also a great, great player and can have great games here and there, but he doesn't have an extended 5th gear like James.

Spurs on the other hand have to play continuous elite basketball making 90% of time making all their free throws, keeping turnovers to a minimum, moving the ball on every possession and going after every loose ball....anything less against Miami won't cut it.

Miami still has not played a good all around efficient game against the Spurs.

I'm here. Gotta hit free throws late in the game. We needed to win that game.

Looks like Phil Jackson will be coaching again, but not on the bench with the players , but from home or luxury box via Bluetooth

Like the situation in Miami.  Anyone that thinks Spoelstra's the coach is fooling themselves.  Riley is pulling the strings.  Phil will do the same.

I didn't watch the last game but from all reports it sounds like the Heat or at least LeBron played great, the Spurs shit the game away, and the Heat still barely won.

However it is the playoffs and it doesn't matter if you win by 2 or 20, every game is huge.

Looking forward to a good one tonight.

It's kind of fun watching the NBA without having an emotional investment in either team (I'm a long-time Bulls fan) and just hoping for a good exciting game.

Not sure about this bullshit about Spurs playing like crap.  They started something like 10/15 shooting , where up by 12 and then the heat just turned up the defense and fucked up the Spurs.  Sounds like Spurs fans making excuses.  Spurs were playing their best in game 1 and were down by 7 when James got hurt and then still down by 2 when James left.  Then all of a sudden, Green and Diaw who James was guarding hit 3's when all game they did shit.  Spurs would be down 2-0 if James wasn't hurt.

I think the series is over in 6. I don't think that's a stretch. Miami takes both games at home, Spurs win game 5 at home, Miami wraps up the series at home in game 6. That loss in game 1 and all the criticism Lebron dealt with afterwards lit a fire under his ass. He is looking to dominate from here on out. Once he's in that frame of mind, he's able to elevate the play of his teammates to a higher level. LeBron is at the apex of his career and he won't be denied.

This is the series right here gentleman. Spurs are up by 20.
If the Spurs lose this game, they will be finished.

Champions find a way to keep this kind of lead.
