Fact is the Heat are just not as good this year as they were in the previous two, and the Spurs are better. Gonna be some retooling in the off season. Heat will come back with some changes in the off-season. Big three plus whoever. Lots of players still wanna play in Miami.

They are still called the big three. Wade won't be going anywhere, he will sign again at a reduced salary. Mello and or whoever will be signed. Still plenty of guys wanna play here.

I'm not sure Melo would have been able to help the last two games.  Heat are getting out hustled on the boards, up court, in every fashion and then just letting the Spurs hit shots from anywhere.  They don't have a true big man on the court.  Someone that will grab 10-15 rebounds.  They barely rebound.  Bosh is too busy standing at the point to get offense rebounds.  Melo would be pouting.  More issues to this team.  they just seem gassed

Nobody talks about the mental , fatigue caused by being in 4 finals in a row, plus the pressure of being expected to win every time you are there. Sure it's taking it's toll. That's why threepeats are so rare.

Nobody talks about the mental , fatigue caused by being in 4 finals in a row, plus the pressure of being expected to win every time you are there. Sure it's taking it's toll. That's why threepeats are so rare.

Truth being spoken here.  After three or four long playoff runs to the finals in a row even the best team will suffer from physical and mental fatigue.  Even Jordan was smart enough to take a little time off to recharge the batteries.  These guys are human beings and they are going to wear down eventually.
