Congrats Spurs! I'm really happy for them, especially the old guys. I'm also happy for my bwin-account, since I've bet on them months ago when they had a 8,5 rate to win it all.

He missed most of the season. Correct. Lets not pretend that you know what you are talking about. He was coming back from being 18 months away from basketball. I am sure you know that despite that double nickel he dropped on the knicks that still doesn't mean his legs were ready for playoff basketball.

Now, why did you sidestep the question? What happened for the next three consecutive years after 94-95 season?

It's ok. Just accept it. Lebron is no Jordan. No one is. NO ONE WILL EVER BE. Jordan is the best of all time and EVERYBODY ELSE IS A FARRRRRRRR SECOND!

There is no excuses in the NBA.  Magic Johnson and Byron Scott were both injured in the 1989 Finals when they lost to Detroit and barely even played in any of the games.  Guess what, nobody gives a fuck.  A loss, is a loss, is a fucking loss.  I like Jordan, but I don't like how people pick and choose what "counts" and what doesn't count.

NO FUCKING EXCUSES PLEASE.

According to some, Jordan is not great because he came back after being out 18 months and was eliminated by Shaq. Despite winning 3 consecutive championships after that.

That's not what I said at all.  I just don't like it when people act like 1994-95 didn't happen.  That's what you were doing.  The lie of omission.

4 to 1 series  , what a fucking joke, total asskicking by the spurs

Well at least kobes 5 rings mean less with duncans 5 rings in the same era

I don't understand why this kind of idiocy is so pervasive when it comes to the NBA.    Competing in an era with other great teams should make your rings worth more not less.    Especially when Kobe's Lakers knocked Duncan out of the playoffs so many times.

San Antonio Spurs, with its great deep lineup, beats Miami, who was three of the 'best' players on one team that money can buy.

Congratulations San Antonio!

What happened in the 1996 Eastern Conference Finals? Or do you only care about the 1994-1995 season?

Must hurt to realize no one will ever be better than Jordan.

And?

Kobe's Lakers beat Boston in the 2010 Finals.  Does that now mean that they didn't lose to Boston in 2008?  If so, awesome!

On the question of who would you rather build your team with? A young Tim Duncan or a young Kobe?

Give me Tim Duncan.

I sure hope they do.  But I do think for the experience and minute mgmt advantage that the Heat gained... they lost Miller and he's very valuable.

I really think SA is going to go 'all out' like we've never seen.  SA will be on the floor for every loose ball.  MIA guys will be protecting their bodies for new contracts.  SA lost last year - MIA won... SA will be way hungrier.

Last year, I thought talent was the X factor.  This year, I think it will be contracts - SA is fighting for legacy before retirement, while the Big 3 all can lose tens of millions of $ if they twist a knee on a dive for a loose ball.

BOOM!   MIAMI players were playing for their next contract.  Playing to preserve stats and bodies.

I'm a total Miami homer, and last year I was all over their nuts.  This year, I knew it wasn't the same :(

would've been a sweep had they simply hit 4 free throws game two.

What a thorough ass kicking. Super Bowl and now this....lol

Jeezus you are dense.

And you are short sighted and stupid. How come you made such a big deal of the 94-95 season?

Lebron's record in the NBA Finals is 2-3.   That is pathetic. He is certainly no Jordan. Make it easier on yourself and accept that Jordan is the best ever. There is nothing you can point to in Lebron's career that will change that.

Who is the coach?  Unless it's Pop, I'm still taking Kobe.

Duncan has been a part time player for several years.  playing under 30 minutes a game, taking games off scoring like 15 points a game.  He's a great player but the San Antonio system is like the Patriots in the NFL.  The coach and the system are such that you can get comparable results even when their best players aren't playing.  Look at tonight, they played as well or better when Splitter was in at center.

And Phil Jackson, with his 11 titles, is a bologna sandwich??  ???
