Saw it in game one and saw it this game again.  The Heat are about to make a big run, have the lead and all of a sudden the refs get whistle happy to stop any momentum.  Seems Silver is not a fan of the Heat

The way The Spurs were moving the ball around and hitting their 3's it wouldn't have mattered.

I don't get it. Half the team is white and half the black players have white mothers. What's the odds of that? I always liked the Spurs so....way to go.

I am still in a bit of shock over what a thorough ass-kicking this was.  Wasn't expecting that at all.

yea me either , to only win 1 game in the series is a fucking joke, not even the BIG NBA FIX commission could save the heat from the embarrassment

they tried for sure by getting Leonard in foul trouble very early

Yep, I had this 6 games Spurs and could be persuaded to think 7, but 5 games and what should've been a sweep?   Never saw it comin.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Gentlemen!  What wonderful day!  Wiggstadamus was correct. (Does that make me 1-95 Groink?  ;) ) Feels good to stick with your team and be rewarded especially after what happened last year. What a class organization from the top down. This was slaughter.  We should have swept. The Heat have a lot of questions to ask and answer.

Rob, told you so.

Mark this as another time I was right.

Yeah but it was the refs fault.   ::)   The Spurs thoroughly whipped Miami's ass from top to bottom and you have people in this very thread talking about the officiating.  Jeezus.

Heat did far better with their big 3 then Kobes big 5

I would hope that people are smart enough to make a distinction between what Miami did and LA signing great players that are 40 years old and at the ass end of their careers.  Especially since Karl Malone and Steve Nash promptly got injured as soon as they signed in LA and barely played.  Also, as good as Gasol was in 2008-10 he totally took a shit in the 2011 playoffs and has been a shell of his former self ever since.  When LA got Dwight he was injured and obviously didn't want to be there.  How does that equate to having Lebron, Wade and Bosh all in their 20's?  Ray Allen was older but he's strictly a three point shooter so it really doesn't matter.  Now they want to add Marshmelo Anthony too, lol.  Fake rings.

the salaries of the Big 3 are already right at the team salary cap.  A bunch of 20, 19, 21 million dollar deals with Wade able to grab max money, and bosh/lebron being able to leave.  They designed it so that they'd have 4 years to see what happens.

The NBA made the anti-miami rule and limited teams to $65 mil, I think, starting next season.  So it'd have to be the Big3 + a shitload of minimum money guys.   Battier retiring.  I think EIGHT of the guys on their roster are free agents this year PLUS the lebron and Bosh opt-outs.

And I think they knew a while back it was end of the Big 3.  They flirt with Melo publicly during Finals?  ouch.
I bet Wade and his shitty contract stays.  LBJ and Bosh bail.  THey go after Love or Melo or whoever to try to salvage something.  Hey, they had an awesome run.
Bullshit, Lebron ain't leaving where would he go, L.A., Cleveland, New York, please. Contracts will be restructured especially Wades, Chalmers, Birdman, Battier all will be gone. Ray Allen may retire. They will go after a point guard and a big body versatile power forward. I am sure they will make a run at Mello too.

Wade is done.  Plain and simple.  He tried to last but is broken down.  Bosh is not tough enough and James is a mental midget.  Spoelstra, well he was gifted the talent.

Lebron needs to look at Duncan, and how the spurs did it.
Fuck Melo that dude is not shit, he was fucked in Denver and did not do anything for New York.

Lebron should stay with Miami and ask that Wade be removed and bring in decent role players.
It's no good chasing rings and hoping team to team, Duncan and Kobe did not do that.
I credit Kobe for not even suggesting to leave LA in the last few years, he knows it's important to be a 1 team player.
Bosh should go and find a team that really needs him. What a waste of $100M
Wade needs to be released, he would fail a physical with every NBA team.
Say thank you and cut him.
Lebron did his best, wade failed, bosh failed. Ray Allen needs to retire.

Quick, Wade ain't leaving, but will probably take a pay cut to keep the big 3 together and probably take a lesser role, maybe come off the bench!

Not James fault at all.  He brought it night after night best against a superior Spurs team.   Dude has help, but not the caliber needed to beat the Spurs.

Yes but tainted by the fact that several superstars colluded with each other to form an artificially manufactured 'super team' which would allow them to avoid those pesky things like having to build up a team, having to compete against your rivals/peers, and pretty much assured they would 'get theirs'.

Its beautiful, beautiful  irony that they got smashed by a team that was built up the hard way and had 0 flashy, stat stuffing superstars
