can't stand Miami and I am a die hard spurs fan! But unfortunately this rings true. Lebron is just too good. Match up nightmare, and his defence is unreal. His D is what really shines to me. Albeit Leonard can play some solid D as well, no match for Bron.

The eastern conference is such a joke. Miami has probably the easiest path to the Finals in NBA history.

The western conference has 8 50+ win teams, every series is close, all tough teams, every round for the spurs is gonna be a battle.

Not Miami's fault, the playoff system will be realigned in the very near future. The teams with the overall best records will be in the playoffs. Adam Silver should be addressing this in the off-season.

Everyone knows it isn't Miami's fault, but it is still the truth....their regular and post season matchups are much easier.  Although, SA swept twice and lost only two games during the 2013 post-season in the more difficult West before getting to Miami in the finals and losing in the bitter end of game 7.  That said, no matter how "easy" the east roster may be for the Heat they still took down the West Conf champs.

I grew up in SA, live and work in it today and have watched the Spurs my entire life and although I KNOW they can beat Miami if SA does get back to the finals (against the Heat) it'll be another hard, hard, hard fought 7 games series.  We're not even close to that though LOL.

Hopefully...it is not right that the western conference champ has to battle for their life to the Finals while the east representative gets basically a cakewalk...also not right that there are 50- win teams not making the playoffs because they are in the west, while teams with 38 wins make the playoffs just because they play in the east

This same scenario is true in the NFL....best teams regardless of East/West or AFC/NFC should be in the playoffs.

Ummm....it's only one game played of the East semi's so far. The Nets and Wizards are not bad teams at all. Of course the west conference is stronger. But the Nets, Pacers, or Wizards won't lay down like dogs for Miami.

Everyone keep sleeping on the Wizards...I love it when they continue to prove the haters wrong.

AND>...  the entire starting 5 of BKN took ZERO free throws.   Wade + Lebron only took 2 combined free throws.  It was a skill game.  There isnt the toughness on that BKN team youd see with a chicago.  Nobody on that team is gonna knock lebron down.  Let's face it... the year isnt 2005 anymore... Lebron would knock Kevin Garnett the fck out.  Out cold.  not even close.  He's too old and skinny and weak to be a bully like he used to be.   KG used to be one if the biggest pricks in the NBA.  Not any longer.

they'll be lucky to steal one.  They're just too old and they don't have the bodies to get physical.  Pierce still has skill, but wow, he's so skinny now.  And KG is a glorified backup, look at the dude. 

Miami, on the other hand... looks like a damn GH buffet down there lol... the left side of Wade's head just won't stop growing.  Lebron has the gh head going now too... and even the dudes like birdman and the duke guy are showing signs.   Oh, and I predict the next time we see Kobe, it's GH city.

Miami can go thru the motions and beat these teams with ease. They are a joke compared to the western teams.Dallas, 8th seed in the west, would have beat every single team in the east other than miami. If the spurs played in the east they would average 64-65 wins every season
