Yup. Heavy squats is very taxing on the cardiovascular system.  I know my heart rate goes up considerably when squatting heavy.  I'll pause at the top every 4 or 5 reps to slow my heat rate down a bit.  Some people find their lungs give out well before their thighs do.

Very true......he did 26 in a row and Rest Paused the remainder.

Still very fucking impressive.


Hard on the rotator cuffs when resting and twisting to the side. Had to have been doing this for years.

Can't imagine actually seeing someone fire off 80 like Jack Lalanne used to do with pushups and such.

Good back exercise that literally NOBODY ever does at the gym anymore.

Excellent feat of strength...What's just as impressive is the guy is close to 20% bodyfat...
